Cardiology

From 2007 to 2009, I completed a fellowship program in interventional cardiology at the Bad Segeberg Heart Center. From 2010 to 2015, I worked as a senior physician at Bayreuth Hospital. Since 2015, I have worked at the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein. I was the Head of Cardiovascular Surgery at the Lübeck Campus until 2020 and have been Deputy Director of the Department of Cardiology at the Kiel Campus since 2021. Areas of focus and activity: – TAVI (Head of the TAVI team and Proctor for Evolut, Sapien, and Navitor prostheses) – TEER (Mitra and Tricuspid): Abbott and Edwards systems – LAAC (Watchman and Amulet) Proctor for Watchman – Complex coronary interventions and CTO (antegrade and retrograde)
